Uplift Lexington County hosts our “Pop-Up Mental Health Events” at participating locations. With worldwide stress levels rising due to a variety of economic, social, and political issues, mental health is increasingly identified as a major factor. This pop-up event will be a space for the community to talk or vent about their every day or large struggles that take a toll on their wellbeing. In hopes of reducing their stress by creating conversations around a personalized, and impactful mental health conversation. If resources are needed, they will be provided with a customized resource list or if they just want to vent, we will have professionals waiting to be that listening ear. The event will prioritize mental wellbeing and aim to give the community the awareness and tools to take care of themselves and others around them.

The benefits of this event include:

·        A normalization and acceptance of their own struggles

·        An inspired belief that sharing their struggles does not lead to shame

·        A tailored resource list of other services that are identified as a need
